My name is Farahzada El Shihy and I am an Egyptian artist and designer who draws inspiration from Africa and its many cultures. I am inspired by the patterns, symbols, and history of Africa, which I incorporate into my work in hopes to revive the sense of collective identity back into my continent, starting with Egypt. 

I strive to promote African cultures and pride through my work, and hope to inspire others to do the same. I believe that art should be accessible to everyone, and I strive to create pieces that are both beautiful and meaningful.
